Abstract :
This study aims to identify the financial problems faced by students in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). This study uses questionnaires as an instrument for data collection method. A total of 480 samples among the undergraduates in HEIs responded to the questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the majority of respondents suffered from financial problems because of their limited financial resources and were faced with high cost of living. Their spending levels were still in control and within the boundaries of being a student. Sound financial management will have a positive impact on the financial health of the students on campus.
